Maribeth has been coaching for 14 years and began playing at the age of 10. She played at Downstate in 2008 through 2012, and is also a Walter Panas alumnus.

After graduating high school, Maribeth went on to play at Mount Saint Mary college, where she helped her team make an NCAA tournament appearance, as well as won two Skyline conference sportsmanship awards, and was ranked in the top 10 hitters of the skyline conference in 2014.

In the Fall of 2016, Maribeth became the assistant volleyball coach at Mount Saint Mary college. She held this position until the Spring of 2019. During this time, she completed her first master degree online, in Sports Sciences and coaching education, through Ohio University. Maribeth finished her second master degree in Physical Education and Sport Pedagogy in Fall 2021. She is now teaching in Bronx, NY and has been the varsity volleyball coach at Brewster high school since 2019.

This will also be her fourth season coaching at Downstate. Maribeth has a passion for volleyball and continues to share that with each of her players.
