Rachel has been playing volleyball for 9 years and coaching for 6. She found her passion for volleyball later than most when she started playing at age 19. She quickly realized her love for the game while striving to advance her knowledge and skills through clinics and open gyms. She played for Westchester Community College as a starter both seasons, winning multiple awards.

During her college career she began coaching and has gone on since then to coach teams from ages 12-17 at Local, Regional, and National levels. This will be Rachel’s second season with us here at Downstate.
