Head coach of 16 Red & 15 Mirage

Stacey is a West Point graduate who enjoyed playing club volleyball as a cadet for Army while attending the academy. He joined the Downstate coaching staff in 2018 as an assistant for the 13 Mirage team and since joining the club, he has coached pretty much all age groups, 13 - 17, and all levels: Aspire, Regional, and National. He has also helped train and coach as part of our Beach Volleyball program.

In addition to coaching at Downstate, Stacey took over the varsity coaching job for Somers in 202. During his second year as varsity coach, he won only the fourth league title in the program's history in 2022. A father of 4 daughters, Stacey is extremely passionate about coaching and helping in the growth and development of strong independent young women by way of teaching them the game of volleyball.
